Case Questions
i. Case Questions are free-response questions that are given to students at the beginning of every chapter and are due at the end of the chapter (on chapter test day). Each question has a different scenario for students to answer according to what they read about in the chapter. First, I read and understand the concepts and ideas in the chapter. Then, I answer the questions in my notebook. The teacher, Mr. Luong, goes over the questions and gives the class more information. Lastly, I type up my answers onto a document.
ii. This assignment is significant because it shows my understanding of the chapter. It also challenges my ability to problem-solve, explain, summarize, and describe. This was meaningful because it allows me to acquire a better understanding of the chapter.
iii. This assignment helped me become a better critical and analytical thinker. I now know that there is more to a question than the words on the paper. If I dig deep enough, I will find an even more profound meaning.

Study Guide
i. Study guide is a multiple-choice review packet that is given to students at the beginning of the chapter and is collected the day before the chapter test. Students are asked to answer multiple-choice questions by using their knowledge, books, and notes. First, I read and understand the concepts and ideas in the chapter. Then, I answer the questions with my resources.
ii. This assignment is significant because it tests my knowledge, so I will know which concepts I am unfamiliar with. This is meaningful to me because I use this to study before the chapter test. It gives me a sense of how the test will be like.
iii. This assignment helped me study and review for my tests. It required me to use the process of elimination to answer tricky questions. I now know that doing study guides will allow me to do better on the actual test.
